Jay: Starting Over at 34

Shunned for Leaving My Faith

Jay

 Jehovah's Witnesses

"I grew up in the Jehovah's Witnesses from the age of 8-34 years. I left the religion at first by stopping all activity. Then I officially resigned from the organization, giving a formal letter of disassociation."

Automatically the members of the religion shunned me, including my parents. I could longer hang out with them, talk to them or be involved in each others lives. Unfortunately this was a factor to losing my marriage. All of this because I no longer believe in this religion. Sad but true.

Now it’s about starting over and making a new family at age 34.
