Passmore Sauti: Shunned on My Daughter’s Special Day

I left Jehovah’s Witnesses organization in November 2022. My daughter remained in the organization.

This year, 2025, my daughter got married. I was not allowed to be part of the marriage negotiations. I was forced to appoint a proxy to act on my behalf and I was told that I could not walk my daughter down the aisle to handover to the groom.

My daughter told me that I was not welcome to the celebration based on her research of their doctrine. I was only allowed as part of the audience in the Kingdom Hall. I humbly accepted because I didn't want to spoil her special day.
